OUR LEGAL NETWORKS
For over a decade, The Nuhanovic Foundation has been responding to the justice and accountability needs of victim and survivor communities through the creation of specialised legal networks. Our legal networks focus on building legal capacity, conducting advocacy for victims’ rights, and facilitating access to justice and victim participation in justice processes.
Ukraine Legal Network (ULN) is a group of Ukrainian and international lawyers working with and for Ukrainian survivors in the Netherlands in their search for justice. ULN focuses on reflecting victim priorities and facilitating victim engagement in domestic and international justice initiatives through case-building activities, advocacy and community engagement.
Yazidi Legal Network (YLN) was established by The Nuhanovic Foundation in response to the request of a group of victims and witnesses based in the Netherlands to assist them in accessing justice. YLN works to establish recognition of and accountability for international crimes committed by ISIS, through investigation, documentation, capacity building and advocacy.
