CASE UPDATE

The Nuhanovic Foundation supported the cases of the widows of South Sulawesi, an Indonesian village where hundreds of men were summarily executed by Dutch colonizers in 1947, during the fight for Indonesia’s independence.

On August 2013, the Dutch State reached an out-of-court settlement with ten of the victims’ widows and awarded them compensation of 20.000 euros each.
