Since 2017, victims of the 2015 Coalition bombardments of the Iraqi town of Mosul requested the Dutch Ministry of Defense for information concerning its involvement in airstrikes on a convoy that left civilian casualties. The airstrikes were carried out by the international coalition “Combined Joint Task Force” of which the Netherlands is a member.

The Nuhanovic Foundation supports the request to the Dutch government on behalf of two victims who are represented by Dutch lawyers and has contributed to the costs of the proceedings.
