This is a letter from the Palestinian Human Rights Organizations Council (PHROC), sent to the Minister of foreign affairs and the Minister of foreign trade of the Netherlands. The letter anticipates a visit by the ministers to Israel in the context of the Dutch-Israeli Cooperation Forum, which took place in December 2013.

The PHROC calls upon the Dutch government to exclude Israeli companies that are based in settlements in the Occupied Palestinian Territories from participating in the Forum. By doing business with these companies, Dutch enterprises (and the Dutch government facilitating them) would indirectly support the illegal settlements, and thereby be involved in violations of international law.
