This Press Release by the UN General Assembly provides a summary of its report HR/CT/744 of 19 March 2012, on important advancements in the implementation of reparations schemes in Guatemala and also in the provision of access to information on the internal armed conflict using archives, such as that of the national police, the file of the Ministry of Interior and the archives of the Secretariat for Social Welfare.
