TOSCA URBANUS

Tosca Urbanus studied Criminal Law and International Law at the University of Amsterdam (UvA). From 2013 until 2015 she worked as a law clerk at the Criminal Court of the District Court of Amsterdam. During her studies she did an internship and worked at law firms and conducted research into the legal possibilities for reparations for war victims. Since 2015 she worked as a lawyer at Jebbink Soeteman Advocaten. Since 2016 she was the secretary of the board at the Nuhanovic Foundation. Her work primarily focusses on supporting litigation for obtaining reparations for war victims. From 2019-2022 she was the Vice-Chair of the Dutch Association of Young Criminal Lawyers (NVJSA), and she currently serves as the Chair of the Board at The Nuhanovic Foundation.
